Nigeria set to launch its first Tax Inspectors without Borders criminal tax investigations programme

Nigeria is set to launch its first Tax Inspectors without Borders criminal tax investigations programme. The Federal Inland Revenue Service Nigeria made the announcement on their verified X handle on Saturday afternoon.

The Federal Inland Revenue Service FIRS, in partnership with OECD/UNDP will inaugurate the first phase of the Tax Inspectors Without Borders between 7th and 13th of May, 2024.

This initiative is aimed at bolstering FIRS Nigeria's capacities in combating tax crimes and associated illicit financial activities, employing a comprehensive government-wide strategy.
