Nigeria's rising star, Samuel Ogazi, has continued his impressive debut season in the NCAA by qualifying for the men's 400m final, just six months after moving to the United States.
Ogazi secured his spot by winning his 400m semifinal heat with a time of 45.14s, narrowly edging out JeVaughn Powell, who finished second in 45.17s. This marks Ogazi's third fastest time over the one lap, showcasing his potential while conserving energy for the final.
