Principal/School Administrator Statement as posted on the School Social Media Platform:

Greetings esteemed parents/Guardians/Well wishers.

Trust this information meets you well.

In view of the edited video in circulation on the social media through one of our parents regarding her niece alleged to be sent home for coming late.

Firstly, we want to tender my unreserved apologies for all the inconveniences this might have cost this noble and reputable family.

It's very unfortunate that such could happened as a result of disciplinary measures to discourage lateness to school for a child that comes to school when she feels like. The attendance record is there to show that the student in question has been coming to school very late on daily basis ever since the beginning of last term, i.e second term that have been in the school.

We have issued several warning to her and she always claimed it's her auntie each time.

She came to school also very late yesterday with unkept hair which she claimed she was busy throughout the weekend to make and we magnanimously led her to one of the female staff to assist her dress and park her hair because for the sake of her self esteem we can't afford to allow her meet her classmates with her hair unkept.

Recalled we have modified the school busses pick up at resumption to address same as regards those coming with the school bus which has started yielding results.

She has been perpetually coming late ever since and defiling the school rules.

We want to use this medium to reiterate that lateness to school is not going to be tolerated by the school and any form of indiscipline.

We crave your indulgence to join hands with the school in moulding our hope of tomorrow.

The least they deserve from us as custodians is love not pampered, care and to instill good morals in them.

Thanks so much for your time and the trust you have in us.

God bless you all.
